I love that sentiment. Love warms the heart and the soul. And before I show you another card, let me show you another kind of love:
Meet baby Sara, my dear friend Gen's baby girl. She's fresh out, barely 3 weeks old! This was taken at my house on Friday night while this cute little bundle of love was sleeping peacefully in my studio. Gen and I were having some fun making cards and Sara was happily snoring away. She fit snuggly in a little corner of my counter space, replacing my Cricut machine. Of course, that's in between Gen feeding her and me holding her afterwards. Oh the smell and the sounds of a baby... Too darling!
OK, on to the card. This one was also part of my Christmas Cards class.
It's too bad the photo didn't catch exactly the teal color. I'm having a very hard time photographing this shade of color for some reason and I didn't have the patience to tweak and adjust. It's a pretty simple card but we've used the masking technique for the bear who sits comfortably on his iceberg. I love how the hat and the mug is popped. I went a little heavy on the reflection of the ice with a sponge dauber but I still like it.
Supplies list (all Stampin' Up! products) -- stamp set: cold & cuddly; inks: going gray, ruby red, taken with teal; cardstock: whisper white, going gray, holiday lounge dsp; other: ruby red brads, modern label punch, hobby blade, white gel pen, basic black stampin' write marker, sponge dauber, stampin' dimensionals, mini glue dots, snail adhesive.
Have a fantastic week! CeeCee
