On Saturday, I hosted my annual World Card Making Day event (one week earlier due to schedule limitations) where a group of women congregated in my workshop from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. to make 20 cards.
It was such a blast! I like those all-day events where the pace a little slower than normal classes. We always have a good time. This week, I'm going to show you the 5 groups of cards we made. Here's the first one:
I love these hot-air balloons! The image is stamped with Sweet Centers featured in the Holiday Mini Catalogue and the sentiments are from Teeny Tiny Wishes, a favorite of mine. The 3-D balloons are made 4 circles punched out of Tall Tales DSP with the new 1 3/4" Circle punch. Then you fold each punched circle in half and glue the together. It's simple and had a real WOW factor. The cards can still be mailed out by flattening out the balloons. Here's a close-up of the balloon:
Also, this week I will introduce something interesting to all my Newsletter Subscribers. It's called My 12 Weeks of Christmas Ideas and will start on September 30th. Every Wednesday for the next twelve weeks, I will send each subscriber a holiday idea by email that you can duplicate, complete with photos and simple instructions. These projects will range from holiday greeting cards, gift ideas, and gift bags, boxes and tags. These ideas are only available to my newsletter subscribers. So, if you aren't already a subscriber, click in the sign up box below to begin receiving my newsletters.
