someone challenged me today to pick out my favorite stamp set with a summer theme and although there are tons to choose from, Tropical Party (#120081) is my number #1 stamp set hands down.

Here's a very simple 8 1/2" X 11" scrapbook page that Gen and I did last week. The subject of our page: her son, William. He is such an adorable little guy!
I made the tag using two different stamp sets since I couldn't find exactly what I was looking for. I love that paper, once again from Bella Rose DSP. The chipboard letter was also covered with the same paper. And don't you just loooooooove that 1" gros-grain ribbon? I am so happy that SU decided to offer us large ribbons.This one in particular comes in 4 different colors. I just noticed that I have a hard time making something without the color green in it... hmmm, must vary projects. Will work on that. Recipe is down below. Enjoy! CeeCee

What a difference this day was compared to yesterday! Geneviève came over for a crop day and we made a whole bunch of new cards and projects. Carolynn joined us for a little while too but shhhh... she doesn't know that we used her picture with Gen's son on this scrapbook layout. Isn't that a perfect color match?!

On Saturday, I had the pleasure of attending Stampin' Up!'s Regional Seminar in Montreal and let me tell you, it was a blast! We were given a beautiful stamp set from the current catalogue (So Much) and did quite a few make-&-take's. We also learned about new techniques that I can't wait to show you. But most of all, it was a great opportunity to get together with fellow SU demonstrators, meet new ones and exchange cards and ideas. All in all, a wonderful day. Here are some of the Make-&-Take's that we did during this event:
This is a unique little card where part of the inside shows through the front. It's a fun way to use scraps and I love the effect.

These two projects use the Tea Time Designer Series Paper and Live Your Dream stamp set that is featured in our new Occasions Mini Catalogue. You can view the mini by clicking on the image in the right-hand sidebar. The project on the left is a pocket card. The soft sky portion of it slides up to reveal a message. The scrapbook page is a 6 X 6 format. I've added a picture of the INKredible Canadians SU team on it that was taken at the Regionals. That's only part of the whole group that was there!
And here's the last one I made. It's simply a long piece of Kraft cardstock that is folded in such a way to create a pocket inside to enclose a gift card. I love the simplicity of it.
This is what the inside looks like. It is ready to write a nice sentiment and the gift card.
