On a different note, I wanted to show you the two Make&Take projects from my Open House which took place last Monday. I had a blast and I am pretty sure my 29 attendees had a good time as well! A big THANK YOU goes out to Kathy Vinski for her tremendous help with everything and also to my daughter Stéphanie who help before the event in a big way.

The 1st Make&Take were prepared with the Scallop Notes. These cute little cards are 4" X 2 3/4" and come in packages of 30, 10 each of Soft Sky, Very Vanilla and Kraft colors, as well as their matching envelopes. Each faces of the notes are covered with a piece of Prints Designer Series Papers. The middle was punched with the Scallop Circle punch. Using the A Beautiful Thing stamp set, the swirly flower was stamped in coordinating ink and punched out with the 1 1/4" circle punch. Another circle, this time with the 1 3/8" circle punch, was used to layer the image and was complimented with a Rhinestone Brad. The whole thing is popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals and glued unto the inside panel of the card, peaking through the scalloped circle of the front of the card. A little piece of the Double-Stitched ribbon was added around the front of the card with a little knot on the front. The scalloped edge was poked with a Paper Piercer over Mat and the saying from the Much Appreciated stamp set was added at the bottom of the inside piece to complete the whole thing. Easy as pie!
The other Make&Take was another easy project to complete. It's a little photo holder made with a binding clip that you find at your average office supply store. The size of this one is 2" wide. You just cut a piece of your favorite Designer Series patterned paper to size (this one is using the Jersey Shore which I loooooove for its vibrant colors). A piece of 1/4" grosgrain ribbon was glue on the piece of paper and then the whole thing is glued to the clip using the Tombow Multipurpose Adhesive. If you haven't tried that glue yet, please do so. It adheres paper to metal with so much ease. I was impressed. And it has a fine and broad tip. It's also good for paper on paper and can be used as a removable glue if you let it dry. Very useful when making your own envelopes. You can glue along the flap and let it dry before closing the envelope. The envelope can then be open and closed without being torn! The little felt flower is from the Flower Fusion kit and a new product by Stampin' Up!. It comes in 3 different colors and 14 diffent designs per tin. We used a brad in the center and adhered the flower over the ribbon with a Mini Glue Dot. To finish it off, another piece of ribbon was knotted around the "legs" of the paper clip. And voilà!
