good cold morning, my creative friends!
it's -18 celsius in montreal today. yikes and yikes. i thought i'd pop in here to give you an update since my last post was a couple of weeks ago. i was in Anaheim, California for a week for the CHA Winter 2013 show and although it was fun i'm just glad to be home. the funny part is that while i was away, montreal got record warm weather and Cali got record cold weather. funny how that works, huh?!
i'm slowly getting back into the groove of things. i started vlogging about my work and other creative projects and you can catch that on my YouTube channel here. and on thursday, i'll be announcing my 1,000th subscriber giveaway.
what else?
oh, one of my resolutions for this year is to finish the projects i have started or planned last year. one of them is this:
it's an easel album from graphic45 that i'm turning into a desktop calendar. it's a class i was fortunate enough to be part of at a show in florida last october. the album is made with the Bird Song paper and stickers collection. i love that asian-inspired collection. the colors are so vibrant. i ended re-doing most of what i had done during the class to add my own personal touches. one the whole calendar is finished, i'll make sure to post the pictures here.
and the card below i made for a video tutorial for scrapbook centrale and you can view it here. the video is about coloring and shading with color pencils. for the card, i used this cute stamp by Saturated Canary called "valentine petals". she's adorable!
that's it for now. i hope you're keeping well and warm and i will speak to you soon!
