I love the traditional red and green colors of Christmas but sometimes I do need a change. And those three colors really do the trick for me: Old Olive, Taken with Teal and Whisper White. These are the 2 last cards we did on Monday night's workshop.
Again here, I wanted to have my guests try their hands at glittering in different ways. For both cards, we used a Sahara Sand CS background with Holiday Lounge DSP. For the card on the left, we stamped Dasher with Whisper White Craft Ink and embossed with White EP. The peak-a-boo window is punched out of the Designer Label Punch. We've also stamped the sentiment from Christmas Punch stamp set in Old Olive, punched it out and popped it with Stampin' Dimensionals inside the card.
The card on the right is stamped with the Delightful Decorations and Nombreux Joyeux Messages (French version of Many Merry Messages). Old Olive ribbon from the Mistletoe Ribbon Originals, Ornament and Scallop Edge punches, Rhinestone brad and Frost White Shimmer Paint were also used.
Gosh, I love these micro beads. They look almost yummy enough to eat. We laid down a piece of Sticky Strip and the little beads stuck to it. Love it!
Check out the shimmer on this baby!!! Wooo-wee! The Taken with Teal CS was sprayed with a homemade mixture of rubbing alcohol and a few drops of Frost White Shimmer Paint and that's become very addictive. The ornament was stamped by dabbing Frost White Shimmer Paint directly on the stamp.
