Wow, it's been a week since I posted and I've missed it. As you know, my Dad's been hospitalized since last Sunday and his health is a grave concern. I've been trying to spend as much time as I can with him, feeding him soup and watching him trying to rest. I'd like to thank all of you who've expressed your concern. Your positive comments really do help!
I've been trying to get back into the groove slowly this past week but I found myself mentally exhausted. However, knowing my Dad... he wouldn't want me to stay in this funk for long. He's always been a take charge and positive person. So I shook myself up and decided to slowly emerge from the dark -- Mwah-hawhaw.
I do apologize for my Newsletter subscribers for having missed last Wednesday's deadline for Week 10 and will make it up to you by including 2 projects instead of one for this coming Wednesday.
OK, now that I've got this out let's look at my last Stamp Club project. I totally CASED it from Becky Roberts with a different spin on the cards.
It's a cute box with dividers to store 4 3" X 3" note cards with envelopes and three Hershey's Nuggets. The box has dividers and is made up of two pieces of Soft Suede CS. There's also a transparency sleeve that slides over the box. For an added touch, there's a piece of elastic cord adorned with a bow out of Soft Suede Polka Dot Grosgrain ribbon that wraps around the box. So cute.
The two cards on the left have been first inked in Real Red and Soft Suede and then dabbed with Frost White Shimmer Paint. I've used Christmas Cocoa Specialty DSP to decorate each cards and the Nuggets. Of course, the stamp set is Delightful Decorations and the ornaments are punched with the Ornament Punch.
I fully intend to post more often this week. Let's see how that goes. In the meantime, keep well and live creatively!
