Oooh, I love black.
Last night, Gen & I got together with 10 of my Glitter Sisters to play with 20 different techniques and we had a blast. We've fumbled through some, laughed through some and cooed over baby Sara. All in all, an amazing night!
Here's a card I made to highlight the Blackboard Technique.
To achieve this look, you first need to stamp your image with Whisper White or Very Vanilla Craft inks and then chalk over it with the Stampin' Pastels. I love the effect. And though the picture doesn't show it perfectly the trellis band over the scallop edge is clear embossed as well as the sentiment (both from Pendant Park stamp set). The tree is from Thoughts & Prayers and the taffeta ribbon and cardstock are both Mellow Moss.
