I have two awesome cleaning ladies, Helena and Michelle. They've both recently moved from England and will be sending Christmas cards to their families and friends abroad. So when Helena asked me to make simple cards for her, I readily agreed.
I wanted something I could whip up quickly this morning while they were busy in my house, so I reached for a Simply Sent Card Elements kit that retired a while back and came up with these:
Helena wanted "Across the miles from Montreal" showing on the front of each card and I didn't quite know how to work that out. I tried printing it out on vellum or on an acetate, but it didn't quite work the way I wanted it. So I decided to write them by hand with Stampin' Write Markers.
The finishing touch: Glitter of course!!!!
I added Dazzling Diamonds Glitter on the swirls. Pretty simple!
Using Simply Sent Card Kits is a great way to make quick and classy cards. Look for those kits in the Idea Book and Catalog, pages 170 through 175. There are different themes to choose from, all gorgeous! You can send me an email here to place an order and I'll ship it anywhere in Canada.
Have a great day! CeeCee
