Here's a chocking news from me: I don't like to throw anything away. Haha! I am a pack rat and those who know me well will attest to that. I have been on a spring cleaning frenzy these past few days and I am trying to either give away stuff or recycle. The latter is what I did for these little Thank You Notes. After my Open House last January, I was left with lots of leftovers and pre-cut papers and ribbons. I saved them up, of course, but this time I promised myself I would do something with them. I came up with these cute little Thank You Notes.
Very quick and easy to make. The Scallop Notes come already scored and scalloped (hence the name!). All you have to do is punch withe Scallop Circle in the middle of the front of the card, glue a piece of designer paper, turn it over to see where you punch and punch again in the scallop you did in the cardstock. The reason I do that is that it is too hard for the punch to go through 2 layers at the time and risk damaging your punch. Keep all your punched out shaped. I have re-used the patterned paper ones for this project and kept the cardstock for another project. Stamp the labels on Very Vanilla cardstock using Blue Bayou Classic ink and punch them out. Glue them on top of the scalloped shapes leftovers, poke a rhinestone brad through the two layers and attach inside of the card with Stampin' Dimensionals. Wrap a double-stitched gros-grain ribbon to the front of the card and tie a know. And voilà! You're done! Simple and cute. Gotta love that!
Here's the recipe: Étiquettes mignonnes and Lovely Labels stamp sets, Blue Bayou Classic ink, Scallop Notes (which comes with matching envelopes), Prints Designer Series Papers, Very Vanilla cardstock, Double-stitched Gros-grain ribbons, Circle Rhinestones brads, Scalloped Circle punch and 1 3/8'' Circle punch, Stampin' Dimensionals and Snail Adhesive.
