On my other blog, I posted this card that uses the Card Positioning System sketch #62. The card below is the equivalent, but made entirely with SU products. I didn't have the patterned paper that I wanted, so I created it with stamps. No border punches either... no problem! I made one up using the Scallop Circle punch. Sometimes, it's necessary to cheat :-) If you notice the butterfly, the first layer on top was made using a stamp from Bursting with joy with Craft Ink and then embossed with clear powder on vellum. The image is kind of a circle with spokes inside. After I stamped it, I glued a cut out butterfly with temporary adhesive to the back of the vellum and cut around it. And Presto, you have a textured butterfly!
Here's the recipe-- Stamp sets: Bursting with Joy, Saisir la vie and Priceless; Inks: Craft Pretty In Pink, River Rock and Pretty in Pink (Classic); Cardstock: Whisper White, Pretty in Pink, River Rock; Punches: Scallop Circle, Word Window, Large Oval, 1/16'' circle, Crop-a-Dile; Markers: Rose Red, Apricot Appeal; Others: Stamp-a-ma-jig, liquid glue, Dazzling Diamonds Glitter, clear embossing powder, pink taffeta ribbon, Stampin' Dimensionals, Snail Adhesive.
