Today, I was fiddling around with the Carousel Notes (those circle-shaped scallop-edged cards) and I came up with this idea of using parts of it as a nosegay. I love this color scheme; it's somewhat spring-like. I had fun cutting out all the stamped flowers; after coloring, cutting is my favorite activity. The emblossed dots on the scalloped edge of the nosegay were done with the Pick a Petal Classy Brass stencil and the Empressor and the pierced border is also made with the stencil. Love it!
I also wanted to share a bit of good news with you: I made Kristina Werner's Top 10 in her Color Inspiration #6. I am soooooo happy. I love her style and feel very honored. So, thank you Kristina.
OK, here's the recipe for this card-- Carousel Notes; Stamp sets: Spring Solitude, Beaucoup; Cardstocks: Chocolate Chip, Soft Sky, So Safron and Groovy Guava; Chocolate Chip Classic Ink; Antique Brads and Jumbo Eyelets, Crop-a-dile, Stamp-a-ma-jig, Stampin' Dimensionals, Snail Adhesive.
